Let’s Talk About Planning… and Prayer

Hi friend!

Can I be honest with you? There was a time when I felt like I had to separate my spiritual life from the rest of my life—like prayer was one thing and planning was another. But slowly, I started to see how beautifully they could come together.

Now, planning is one of my favorite ways to stay close to God.

Whether I’m writing out my goals for the week or jotting down a verse that touched my heart, my planner has become a place where I process life with the Lord. I don’t always have the perfect words or a perfectly filled-out week—but when I open my planner, I feel like I’m creating space for grace. For prayer. For peace.

Maybe you're like me and life feels a little messy sometimes. That’s okay. Your planner doesn’t have to be Pinterest-perfect. What matters is that it helps you feel grounded, intentional, and connected.

Here are a few sweet ways you can make your planner a space for spiritual growth:

  • Write down one thing you're praying for each day.

  • Add feast days or Sunday readings to your weekly view.

  • Use stickers or colors to highlight faith-based goals (like going to Confession, starting a novena, or attending Adoration).

  • Leave room for gratitude journaling, even if it’s just one line.

It’s not about doing more—it’s about being present. God’s in the details of your life, and your planner can be too.

So don’t overthink it. Just start with what feels right, and let your planner be a little space of calm and connection in your day. 🤍🌿
